About Jay Y. Darji, D.O.

Jay Y. Darji completed his undergraduate training at Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Cell, Molecular, Biochemistry and Genetics and went on to obtain a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Pre-Health Studies at The University of Pennsylvania. He attained his medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine where he also completed a transitional year program while serving as a Chief Intern Resident. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the renowned Temple University Hospital/Moss Rehabilitation program in Philadelphia and his interventional pain fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. 

Dr. Darji is experienced in treating patients with neck pain, back pain, joint and muscle pain and headache related pain. Dr. Darji has advanced training with the use of X-ray and ultrasound guided procedures with a special interest in spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulators, percutaneous tenotomy, minimally invasive interspinous spacers and basivertebral nerve ablation. He is an active member of numerous pain societies including American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Neuromodulation Society and American Society of Pain and Neuroscience. 

Dr. Darji is a native of New Jersey and is proud to serve his community. He believes in a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care because each person experiences pain differently. He wants patients to understand their condition and treatment options available to make the safest and most informed decision. Having recently lost 50lbs, he knows how important lifestyle, diet and exercise are to not only preventing disease but to help with chronic pain.
